Job summary

Cognizant Singapore is seeking an experienced DeltaV Application Programmer to design, configure, program, and maintain DeltaV DCS applications in a GMP-regulated facility. The role emphasizes validated documentation, change control, and data integrity.

You will design control strategies, configure operator interfaces, and support FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and CSV activities to ensure compliant, reliable, and audit-ready automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV DCS programming in GMP/pharma.
• Strong DeltaV tools experience: Control Studio, Recipe Studio, Diagnostics, Explorer, Batch Historian.
• Solid hardware knowledge: MD/SD/SQ, CHARM I/O, redundant controllers.
• Experience with CSV/validated environments and IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
• Familiarity with GMP/21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy DeltaV control strategies for GMP manufacturing.
• Configure DeltaV operator interfaces and historian tagging for compliant operations.
• Maintain DeltaV databases, alarms, and I/O mappings per ALCOA+ data integrity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and I/O issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead change control activities and support CSV validation efforts.
