Job summary

Wintermute is a leading crypto-native algorithmic trading company building liquidity across major exchanges and on-chain protocols. We are expanding our DeFi team, welcoming developers, traders and graduates who want to design and implement trading strategies and the supporting microservices behind our trading engine.

You will work across multiple code bases in languages like Python, Rust or Go, contributing to high-frequency liquidity provision and robust backend systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Rust or Go.
• Comfortable with Linux environments and Git.
• Experience with programmatic statistical analysis and quantitative skills.
• High level understanding of high-frequency liquidity provision strategies.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and mechanics of the EVM.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and the Foundry toolkit.
• Passion for learning about protocol microstructure and design mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trading strategies for on-chain liquidity.
• Build core microservices and backend infrastructure for the trading engine.
• Collaborate with traders and developers to improve systems.
• Analyze on-chain data to inform strategy and risk management.
