Job summary

Wintermute, a leading crypto-native algorithmic trading firm, builds liquidity engines across exchanges and supports on-chain projects and institutions venturing into crypto. We are expanding our DeFi team and welcome developers, traders or graduates to design and implement trading strategies, plus the core microservices and backend infrastructure behind our trading engine.

You will work with experienced traders and engineers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python, Rust or Go.
• Experience with Linux environments and Git.
• Experience in programmatic statistical analysis and quantitative reasoning.
• Knowledge of high-frequency liquidity provision strategies.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and EVM
• Familiarity with smart contract development and Foundry toolkit.
• Interest in protocol microstructure and design mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trading strategies for on-chain systems.
• Develop and maintain core microservices and backend infrastructure behind the trading engine.
