Job summary

Jacobs Singapore is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join the Cities and Places team on a Defence project. You will provide contract administration, progress claim assessment, and cost control alongside a team of QS professionals and the Contracts Manager.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree in quantity surveying, at least five years of relevant experience on greenfield or defence projects, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in QS or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience.
• Experience in greenfield, new build projects.
• Defense projects experience would be an added advantage.
• MS Office skills are essential; BIM experience (Revit) bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration for Defence project.
• Report to Project Manager and assist on project.
• Coordinate with Client, 3rd Parties and resident site staff.
• Prepare cost estimates, variations, and change notices.
• Prepare monthly valuations for progress payments.
• Review and evaluate contractor claims and EOT/L&E.
• Prepare final accounts and cost reconciliation statements.
• Attend site and virtual meetings.
