• Track record of personally hunting and closing hyper-niche technical talent.
• Individual contributor at heart; able to close hard hires.
• Able to speak credibly to quantum physicists or INS engineers.
• Experience closing candidates on mission, autonomy, and equity, not just cash.
• Comfort operating with minimal infrastructure, low budgets, ambiguity.
• Can distinguish strong resumes from exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

• Hunt, don't process: run sourcing for hyper-niche roles.
• Map the landscape to identify where the right people work.
• Sell the mission with an equity narrative, not just salary.
• Engage deeply with candidates and founders to ensure credibility.
• Build long-term sourcing infrastructure and university/community ties.
• Shape global hiring strategy as the company expands.
