Job description

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Debt Financing Manager to work directly with the CEO on structuring, negotiating and executing major financing transactions.

This is a hands-on, deal-oriented position focused on bank financing, project finance, structured lending and lender relationship management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing discussions with banks and institutional lenders, evaluating financing structures, negotiating terms, coordinating legal and financial due diligence, and driving transactions through credit approval and financial close.

We are particularly interested in candidates from corporate banking relationship management, structured finance, project finance or specialized lending teams who understand how banks evaluate credit, structure facilities and obtain internal credit approvals.

Candidates with comparable financing execution experience at infrastructure, data center or other capital-intensive companies are equally welcome.

Key Responsibilities
Debt Financing & Bank Relationships
  • Support and lead the execution of bank and other debt financings, including bilateral, syndicated, project finance, structured finance and asset-backed facilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Singapore and regional banks, structured finance teams and institutional lenders.
  • Negotiate financing terms, including debt sizing, pricing, fees, tenor, repayment structures, covenants, security packages and other key commercial provisions.
  • Manage lender engagement, due diligence, credit approval processes and transaction timelines through financial close.
  • Anticipate bank credit concerns and develop practical financing solutions that balance lender requirements with Atlas's commercial objectives.
  • Work closely with Atlas's financial analyst to evaluate debt capacity, projected cash flows, debt service coverage ratios, leverage, repayment schedules and financing sensitivities.
  • Assess financing alternatives and recommend structures that optimize borrowing costs, flexibility and long-term funding requirements.
  • Review financial models and assumptions from a lender's credit and risk perspective.
  • Prepare and review lender presentations, credit information packages, financing proposals and management materials.
  • Translate bank underwriting requirements into financial analyses, contractual protections and actionable transaction workstreams.
  • Work closely with internal and external legal counsel to review and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, guarantees, covenants and other financing documentation.
  • Review key customer, infrastructure and commercial agreements from a financing and bankability perspective.
  • Identify contractual, structural and legal issues that could affect debt financing and work with legal counsel and management to develop solutions.
  • Coordinate lender due diligence, conditions precedent, documentation requirements and closing processes.
  • Proactively manage open issues and follow up with banks, lawyers, advisors and internal stakeholders to keep transactions moving.
  • Support ongoing lender reporting, covenant compliance, facility amendments, waivers and refinancing activities.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and Accounting on drawdowns, debt service obligations and financing-related reporting.
  • Monitor financing market developments, lending appetite and alternative funding opportunities.
  • Support future financing initiatives as Atlas expands across projects and markets.
Candidate Requirements
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, relationship management, project finance, structured finance, syndicated lending, debt advisory or corporate debt financing.
  • Strong preference for candidates who have personally executed financing transactions, from structuring and term sheet negotiation through credit approval, documentation and closing.
  • Solid understanding of commercial bank credit processes, underwriting requirements, internal credit committees and lending policies.
  • Experience negotiating loan terms and reviewing financing documentation with banks and legal counsel.
  • Strong understanding of project finance, cash flow-based lending, debt sizing, financial covenants and credit risk assessment.
  • Ability to interpret financial models, analyze financial statements and challenge financing assumptions.
  • Experience financing data centers, GPU infrastructure, telecommunications, power, renewable energy or other infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Existing relationships with Singapore and regional corporate banks or structured finance teams are an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has been directly involved in getting lending transactions approved and closed, not simply maintaining banking relationships or administering existing facilities.

The ideal candidate understands how bankers think, what credit committees require, where financing transactions typically encounter difficulties and how to resolve issues commercially.

You should be analytical, commercially astute, proactive and comfortable negotiating directly with banks and working alongside senior management, lawyers and financial advisors.

Most importantly, you should have a strong execution mindset, taking ownership of transactions and driving them toward completion.
