Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a System Engineer focused on Day 2 Operations to maintain and optimize our enterprise hybrid infrastructure. You will ensure the stability of Nutanix HCI clusters and Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms, with a strong emphasis on automation and security.

The role requires hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV/ESXi, Prism Central, and Ansible, and involves on-call responsibilities to support high‑severity incidents in a regulated

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in enterprise systems engineering with Day 2 production ops.
• Deep expertise in Nutanix environments and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Experience with Ansible for automation and patching workflows.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Day 2 Operations & Lifecycle Management: Own monitoring, health-checking, performance tuning, and capacity management of Nutanix HCI clusters and RHEL environments.
• Patching & Compliance: Manage routine and emergency patching, kernel upgrades, and firmware updates across Nutanix blocks and RHEL estates per security baselines.
• Infrastructure Automation: Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts to automate tasks and drift management.
• Incident & Problem Management: Serve as escalation point for complex incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage, validate, and test DR procedures and backup replication across production nodes.
• Collaboration: Work with developers, security operators, and infrastructure architects to ensure stability.
