Job summary

AVATAR MODERN TECHNO SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a Datadog Engineer to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end monitoring across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and networks.

You will leverage Datadog APM, Logs, RUM, Metrics, and Synthetics to improve reliability and operational visibility. Responsibilities include building dashboards and alerts, implementing tracing, log analytics, and synthetic monitoring, and integrating with incident tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or application support.
• 3+ years of hands-on Datadog experience across APM, Logs, Metrics, RUM and Synthetics.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP environments and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Datadog observability platform and monitoring configurations.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, service maps, and custom monitoring solutions.

• Automate monitoring and reporting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Document best practices and provide technical guidance to team members.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of observability principles including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Experience with Terraform and ITIL processes is an advantage.
