Job summary

BCS Technology Division seeks a Storage, Backup and Database Lead to oversee Oracle DB, storage, and backup operations across production, DR, UAT, and development environments, ensuring high availability and security.

The role leads an engineering team, drives DR readiness, governance, and incident management, collaborates with networks, security, and cloud teams, and aligns with audit and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience in enterprise databases, storage, and backup.
• At least 5 years in leadership or managerial roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Database, storage, and backup operations across production, DR, UAT, and development environments.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning, regular exercises, and business continuity readiness.
• Drive ITIL-based service management, incident management, RCA, and continual service improvement.
• Govern changes, releases, audits, and regulatory compliance; manage vendor performance.
• Collaborate with networks, security, middleware, cloud, and application teams to modernize infrastructure.
