Job summary

Seatrium Ltd in Singapore (Tuas Yard) seeks a Database Administrator for commissioning projects. The role focuses on data accuracy, inputting drawings, punch lists, and clearance notes into the project database, with strong MS Excel/Word skills.

You will work closely with site teams, ensure latest drawing revisions are used, and support the Commissioning Manager with regular progress reports. Relevant experience in Oil & Gas or wind farm projects is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas or wind farm.
• Experience with database setup and inputting drawings/punch lists/clearance notes.
• Familiar with permit-to-work systems and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of project completion management systems and ship systems.

Responsibilities

• Input drawings, punch lists and clearance notes into the database.
• Mark up drawings with system/sub-system boundaries.
• Coordinate with site team for progress updates and ensure latest revisions are used.
• Assist Commissioning Manager for daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Perform calculations on lengths, angles, scales, and unit conversions.
• Verify project documents (SLD, P&IDs, D&IDs) for accuracy.

Job description

• Improve work safety and work quality
• Mainly on accuracy as a core value of Database admin
• MS Excel and Word skill set is necessary
• Clear understanding of Project Completion process and familiar with ship system
• Read all drawings, punch list and clearance notes and input into database
• Ensures proper checks and verifications against project documents such as SLD, P&IDs, D&IDs, etc
• Input all drawings, punch list and clearance notes
• Performs calculation on the arithmetic on lengths, angles, scales, conversion of unit etc
• Marks up drawings with system / sub-system boundaries
• Coordinates with site team for progress updates and ensure team members are using latest revisions of the drawings
• Assists the Commissioning Manager / Project Manager for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly reports
• Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
• Min. 5 years of commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas/ Wind Farm industry
• Possess working experience related to Database set-up
• Familiar with PIMS, FIC, Sispen, Certificate and other project completion management systems including MS Excel and Word
• Basic knowledge of Project Completion process and familiar with ship system
• Familiar with permit‑to‑work systems and lock‑out tag‑out procedures
• Good analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
• Familiar with Project Specifications, Technical and HSE Standards
• Familiar with MS Office software applications (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
• Familiar with Completion Management System database such as PIMS-CMS / WinPCS / ProCoSys / ICAPS
