Job summary

ASSURITZ INFOSEC (SG) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to ensure the performance, security, and integrity of our databases in Singapore. You will work with project teams to keep systems available and secure.

Responsibilities include installation, design, backups, disaster recovery, replication, and tuning with a strong emphasis on security controls and compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Hands-on experience driving improvements in product performance via changes in database schema, logical and physical data organization (partitioning), tuning and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database software and related technologies.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Configure database backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain database users and roles, managing access permissions.
