Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Data Scientist for SMAI (FE Planning) to partner with manufacturing, planning and supply chain teams to solve complex operational problems.

You will design digital twin solutions, build data pipelines and modeling engines, deploy scalable software, and transform large datasets into actionable insights for Micron's global sites. Strong programming in Python/SQL/Java/C/C++/C#/JavaScript and experience with APIs, Git, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and ETL data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, OR, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative field.
• Hands-on experience in Operations Research, Discrete Event Simulation and mathematical optimization.
• Proficient in Python/SQL/Java/C/C++/C#/JavaScript and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Micron manufacturing, planning and supply chain teams to identify and solve complex business problems.
• Design, develop and deploy digital twin solutions using OR, optimization, and DES techniques.
• Build production-grade apps including data pipelines, data cleaning, modeling engines, APIs and UI components.
• Transform large datasets into actionable insights and scalable decision-support tools.
• Drive deployment, benchmarking and continuous improvement across Micron's global sites.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Owners and domain experts throughout the lifecycle.
