Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, maths, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, ML, AI, or analytics with leadership.
• Bilingual or proficient in Python, R, SQL and data science libraries.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and delivery of advanced data science, machine learning, and AI solutions to address complex business challenges and drive measurable business outcomes.

2. Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and translate business requirements into data-driven strategies and technical solutions.

3. Lead the collection, processing, cleansing, and analysis of large and complex datasets from multiple sources to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.

4. Develop, validate, deploy, and optimise advanced statistical models, predictive analytics solutions, and machine learning algorithms.

5. Provide technical leadership and expert guidance on data science methodologies, AI technologies, analytical frameworks, and industry best practices.

6. Lead end-to-end data science projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, model development, implementation, testing, and performance monitoring.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver scalable and effective analytical solutions.

8. Develop and present data visualisations, dashboards, analytical reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients to support informed decision-making.

9. Mentor and guide junior data scientists and consultants, review technical deliverables, and promote continuous improvement in analytical capabilities and project delivery.

10. Monitor emerging technologies, AI developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, improve solution performance, and enhance client value.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, AI, or a related field, with demonstrated experience leading complex data science projects.

3. Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant data science frameworks and libraries, such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

4. Proven expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, predictive analytics, data visualisation, and model deployment, with experience translating analytical findings into practical business solutions.

5. Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead project teams, advise senior stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
