Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to translate complex business problems into actionable data-driven insights in Singapore.

You will develop and maintain ML and statistical models, collect and clean large datasets, and collaborate with clients to recommend effective data science strategies. The role requires proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data science libraries, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks, such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, data mining, data visualisation, and predictive analytics techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into practical business recommendations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models, statistical models, and predictive analytics solutions.
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Apply statistical analysis, data mining, and advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Design and develop data science solutions using programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend appropriate data science strategies.
• Build, validate, and optimise machine learning models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and business performance.
• Develop data visualisations, dashboards, and analytical reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data science models and analytical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, present project findings, and provide expert consultation on data science methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies.
