IG Group is seeking a Data Scientist for APAC to power commercial decisions across Singapore, Australia, Japan and Emerging Markets. You will build predictive models, perform segmentation, and translate insights for stakeholders in marketing and finance.

You will own end-to-end data science work from framing problems to deployment, contributing to APAC's analytics capability and collaboration with regional teams.

Formación

• Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or related).
• 5+ years’ experience as a data scientist or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python and/or R, and SQL.
• Experience building predictive models (LTV, churn, conversion propensity).
• Experience with clustering and classification; sentiment analysis is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain customer lifetime value (LTV) models for APAC markets.
• Design churn and conversion prediction models to inform marketing decisions.
• Apply clustering and classification to surface actionable patterns.
• Develop sentiment analysis capabilities from customer feedback.
• Partner with commercial, marketing and finance teams to translate questions into solutions.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and drive decisions.
