IG Group is seeking a Data Scientist to power commercial, marketing and finance decisions across APAC, including Singapore, Australia, Japan and Emerging Markets. You will build models to predict customer value, behavior and risk, turning data into decisions that shape IG's regional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, CS, economics).
• 5+ years as a data scientist or similar analytical role.
• Strong Python/R and SQL skills with practical ML experience.
• Experience building predictive models (LTV, churn, conversion).
• Experience with clustering/classification and cloud platforms.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain LTV and churn models to guide investments.
• Design churn/conversion prediction models for marketing targets.
• Apply clustering to surface behavioral patterns across APAC markets.
• Develop sentiment analysis to inform product and commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with APAC teams to translate questions into analytics.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end DS lifecycle from framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to APAC DS practice and share best practices.
