NCS is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join its Data & AI team in Singapore. You will build and maintain data pipelines, data platforms, and analytics solutions alongside engineers, architects, and data scientists. Fresh graduates and those with up to 2 years of experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Local residential status in Singapore, i.e. SG Citizen or SPR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and support data integration from databases, APIs, and files.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data preparation, processing and reporting.
• Assist in managing data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and project teams.
• Support CI/CD, automation, and cloud data platform activities.
