Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a data analytics professional to take charge of analytics for payment and financial segments across global TikTok businesses, including e-commerce, live streaming and advertising.

You will identify growth drivers via rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses and design metric frameworks to guide strategy and operational improvements. Proficiency in SQL and Python or R is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mathematical statistics; proficient in theory of statistics, causal inference, ML and big data technologies.
• Proficient in SQL; skilled in at least one programming tool among Python and R.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of data analytics for payment and financial segments of global payment business, and conduct in-depth analysis on transactions and financial metrics for TikTok’s core businesses including e-commerce, live streaming and advertising.
• Identify growth drivers through qualitative and quantitative analysis and deliver optimization recommendations.
• Design core metric frameworks aligned with business value chain and guide model iteration and operational strategies.
• Evaluate operational strategies with experimental analysis, causal inference and statistical modeling to boost revenue and decision-making efficiency.
• Explore the application of LLMs in data analytics, including user behavior analysis, segmentation and profitability analysis.
