Job summary

GovTech, the Government Technology Agency of Singapore, seeks a Data Product Manager to lead strategic, data‑centric products that support Whole‑of‑Government outcomes. You will own end‑to‑end product success where data is the primary value driver—shaping vision and priorities with senior stakeholders across agencies.

This role requires strong product leadership with data literacy to navigate cross‑agency environments, governance and security considerations, and a focus on delivering measurable

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data product management, including strategy and delivery outcomes.
• Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders in complex, multi‑agency environments.
• Experience articulating product value and risks to governance or leadership forums.
• Good understanding of modern data platforms and data governance concepts.
• Clear ownership and accountability for outcomes, with leadership in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate a clear product vision, outcomes and roadmap for data‑centric products.
• Lead problem discovery to ensure the right user and agency problems are solved before solutioning.
• Translate policy, operational and analytical needs into actionable product strategies and priorities.
• Define and track product value, focusing on impact such as better decisions, timeliness and productivity gains.
• Engage policy owners, data owners, business users, analytics teams, technologists and vendors to align priorities.
• Lead cross‑functional product teams spanning data engineering, analytics, architecture, security and operations.
• Governance, risk & compliance: ensure products meet government data governance, security and privacy requirements.
• Mentor Product Managers and contribute to building strong product capability.
