Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in project management, BI, analytics or product analytics.
• Experience leading cross-functional data projects and stakeholders.
• Hands-on with Metabase, Amplitude or similar BI tools.
• Strong KPI, dashboard design and business reporting skills.
• Basic SQL and relational database familiarity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Define and maintain company-wide KPIs across operations, product, finance, marketing, sales and more.
• Translate business questions into measurable metrics and data needs.
• Own the internal analytics ecosystem using Metabase and Amplitude.
• Design reporting frameworks and ensure consistent metric definitions.
• Build dashboards and reports supporting operational and product decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define events, funnels, retention and engagement metrics.
• Lead multiple cross-functional data projects from planning through execution.
• Prioritize data requests based on business value and strategic objectives.

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Data Project Manager to lead our internal data initiatives across the company. This role sits at the intersection of business, product, and engineering. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineers to transform business requirements into reliable datasets, dashboards, and actionable insights. You will own the roadmap for internal data projects, ensuring our Metabase and Amplitude environments provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and business teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Define and maintain company-wide KPIs across operations, product, finance, marketing, sales, customer success, and franchise operations
• Translate business questions into measurable metrics and data requirements
• Own the company's internal analytics ecosystem using Metabase and Amplitude
• Design reporting frameworks and ensure consistent metric definitions across the organization
• Build requirements for dashboards and reports that support both operational and product decisions
• Partner with Product Managers to define product events, user funnels, retention metrics, engagement metrics, and feature adoption
• Lead multiple cross-functional data projects from planning through execution
• Prioritize competing data requests based on business value and strategic objectives
• Coordinate work across business teams, product managers, software engineers, and data engineers

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 4-7 years of experience in project management, business intelligence, analytics, or product analytics
• Experience managing cross-functional technical or data projects
• Hands-on experience with Metabase, Amplitude, or similar BI and product analytics platforms
• Strong understanding of KPI design, dashboard development, and business reporting
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
