Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Singapore seeks a Manager to support the Data Protection Office in developing guidance and monitoring compliance with data privacy laws, contractual obligations, and internal policies.

You will lead reviews, investigate incidents, deliver training, and assist with reporting and project work, leveraging your 5+ years in risk and 2+ years in privacy to protect client and firm data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a risk-related role, with at least 2+ years in data privacy/data governance.
• Familiarity with AI data governance is desirable but not required.
• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPE, CIPM or CAIGP are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience coaching and guiding junior team members.
• Strong communication and collaboration across grades within the firm.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Able to deliver timely, high-quality results to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing global data protection policies and develop local guidance.
• Conduct privacy reviews to ensure compliance and proactively address issues.
• Investigate data incidents and advise on remedial actions and reporting.
• Review data protection controls in technology risk assessments.
• Support contract negotiations related to privacy and data protection.
• Develop and deliver training on data protection and privacy.
• Assist with periodic internal and external reporting.
• Lead ad-hoc data protection projects.
