Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Singapore offers an internship in the Data Protection Office, supporting privacy and data protection programmes. You will help promote responsible data handling, strengthen compliance, and safeguard PwC’s data and reputation.

As an intern, you will work on day-to-day operations, governance initiatives, and data incident management, gaining practical exposure to privacy processes and technology support within a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• University students pursuing studies in law, data governance, data privacy, risk and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis or automation tools is an advantage.
• Clear communicator with ability to collaborate across levels of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Data Protection Office, including maintaining records and preparing management information.
• Assist with the preliminary assessment and triage of potential data incidents.
• Support investigations, reporting and follow-up remedial actions relating to data incidents or privacy matters.
• Contribute to privacy compliance reviews, data protection awareness activities and process improvements.
• Use automation tools to monitor activities and improve efficiency.
