Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Data Privacy Compliance Consultant in Singapore to help lead data protection programs, manage end-to-end privacy impact assessments, and advise on risks and mitigations. The role supports cross-border privacy compliance for APAC in partnership with local counsel and delivers privacy training and practical guidance.

Key Requirements

• Circa 6-10 (+) years of experience in data privacy/compliance, including building or implementing privacy frameworks; legal or compliance professionals are welcome to apply
• Demonstrated hands‑on DPIA experience and ability to translate regulatory requirements into workable controls and processes.
• Solid understanding of Singapore PDPA and regional/cross‑border data issues; exposure to privacy regimes of other countries are also valued
• Excellent communication, stakeholder and training skills; legal background or prior in‑house/firm experience in privacy or commercial legal work is a bonus but not essential

Key Responsibilities

• Drive data protection programme: update policies, processes and guidance to ensure compliant handling of data
• Lead and manage DPIAs end‑to‑end and advising on risks and practical mitigations
• Support cross‑border privacy compliance for APAC, aligning frameworks with local laws in partnership with local counsel
• Design and deliver privacy training and day‑to‑day compliance guidance, and potentially as when required, provide complementary general commercial/legal support
