Job summary

Saragossa is seeking a data quality engineer to own end-to-end data quality across fast-moving data pipelines in a hedge-fund style tech team. You will monitor pipelines, identify anomalies early, and build tooling that eliminates manual steps while improving reliability.

Based in Singapore with a primarily office-based setup and one work-from-home day per week, you will leverage Python and SQL to manipulate data, design scalable ETL/ELT processes, and create self-healing monitoring systems that

Job description

You get full ownership of data quality in a fast-moving team that actually builds things.

You’ll join a tech-focused hedge fund with a collaborative engineering culture where your work will have a direct impact. You’ll own data quality, monitor pipelines and identify anomalies before they become problems.

You’ll build tools that eliminate slow, manual processes and use AI to make them smarter. You’ll also develop self-healing infrastructure and continually improve the firm’s monitoring systems.

This is not a “keep the lights on” role. The team is lean, the ownership is real and you’ll have the autonomy to identify problems, fix them and ship better solutions without waiting for permission.

You’ll bring strong Python skills, solid experience with SQL and data manipulation, and a track record of working with orchestration or ETL/ELT tools. You’ll know how to build effective monitoring and self-healing systems, communicate clearly and take a proactive approach to solving problems.
