Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Governance professional to lead enterprise DLP and AI security initiatives. The role focuses on policy development, governance, and risk management across IT, Compliance, Legal, and APAC teams.

You will design and implement security controls, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and deliver executive dashboards and reports to senior management. A strong emphasis on data protection and AI governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years in cyber security, information security, data protection, or technology risk.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise-scale DLP/data protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and maintain the program roadmap and implementation strategy.
• Facilitate decision-making across business, compliance, legal, and technology teams.
• Prepare project status updates and risk reports for management.

DLP Policy & Control Design

• Define enterprise DLP requirements, policies, and governance standards.
• Establish data classification and information protection frameworks.
• Design and implement DLP controls across:
• Exchange Online / Outlook SharePoint, Online OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot

Microsoft Purview Governance

• Lead Microsoft Purview DLP design, implementation, and governance activities.
• Review and validate DLP control effectiveness.
• Recommend and drive continuous security improvements.

Copilot & AI Security Governance

• Assess data leakage and security risks related to Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.
• Define AI governance principles, acceptable use policies, and access controls.
• Collaborate with AI adoption teams to embed security requirements.
• Develop mitigation strategies for Generative AI data protection risks.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with IT, Compliance, and APAC branch stakeholders to resolve issues and drive project outcomes.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple teams.

Reporting & Deliverables

• Develop executive-level presentation materials and project reports.
• Track and visualize project progress through dashboards and reporting tools.
• Analyze project issues, evaluate solution options, and support decision-making.
• Present insights using charts, metrics, and data-driven reporting in PowerPoint and Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security, information security, data protection, or technology risk
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale DLP / data protection initiatives (policy, governance, and/or control implementation)
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, policy development, governance framework design, and security control implementation
• Good working knowledge of modern collaboration and productivity security controls, including data protection tooling and governance concepts
• Demonstrated project / programme management capability (planning, scope, risk & issue management, change control, and stakeholder coordination)
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear updates, dashboards, and executive materials
• Security or compliance-related certifications are advantageous
• Exposure to AI governance and data protection considerations for AI-enabled tools is a plus
• Experience supporting regional or multi-entity security programmes is preferred
