Job summary

PASONA Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Consultant/Associate Manager to drive Data Loss Prevention strategy in the APAC region.

You will govern M365 DLP and AI security, coordinate across business, compliance, legal, and technology teams, and deliver executive-ready reports and dashboards. This role requires Japan-speaking proficiency, strong governance experience, and deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security (Purview) with hands-on DLP implementation across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online,

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise M365 DLP and AI security governance across APAC.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and maintain the program roadmap and implementation strategy.
• Facilitate decision-making across business, compliance, legal, and technology teams.
• Prepare project status updates and risk reports for management.
• Define enterprise DLP requirements, policies, and governance standards.
• Establish data classification and information protection frameworks.
• Design and implement DLP controls across Microsoft 365 apps.
• Lead Microsoft Purview DLP design, implementation, and governance activities.
• Assess data leakage and security risks related to Copilot and GitHub Copilot.
• Define AI governance principles, acceptable use policies, and access controls.
• Collaborate with AI adoption teams to embed security requirements.
• Develop mitigation strategies for Generative AI data protection risks.
• Coordinate with IT, Compliance, and APAC branch stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level presentation materials and project reports.
• Track and visualize project progress through dashboards and reporting tools.
• Analyze project issues, evaluate solution options, and support decision-making.
• Present insights using charts, metrics, and data-driven reporting in PowerPoint and Excel.

DLP Policy & Control Design

• Define enterprise DLP requirements, policies, and governance standards.

• Establish data classification and information protection frameworks.

Microsoft Purview Governance

• Recommend and drive continuous security improvements.
  

Copilot & AI Security Governance

• Assess data leakage and security risks related to Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.

• Define AI governance principles, acceptable use policies, and access controls.

• Collaborate with AI adoption teams to embed security requirements.

• Develop mitigation strategies for Generative AI data protection risks.
  

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with IT, Compliance, and APAC branch stakeholders to resolve issues and drive project outcomes.

• Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple teams.
  

Reporting & Deliverables

• Develop executive-level presentation materials and project reports.

• Track and visualize project progress through dashboards and reporting tools.

• Analyze project issues, evaluate solution options, and support decision-making.

• Present insights using charts, metrics, and data-driven reporting in PowerPoint and Excel.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Data Protection, Technology Risk, or related domains.

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading enterprise-scale DLP or Data Protection initiatives.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, policy development, governance framework design, and security control implementation.

• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving business, compliance, legal, and technology stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions, including Microsoft Purview.

• Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, issue management, scope management, change management, and vendor coordination.

• Ability to coordinate and drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders in regional or multinational environments.

• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for project reporting, data analysis, and executive-level presentations.

• Microsoft Security, Compliance, or related certifications will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of data protection, information security, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Experience supporting regional IT transformation, security governance, or Microsoft 365 security projects is preferred.

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, AI governance, or Generative AI security initiatives is an added advantage.

• Japan speaking language is required to effectively communicate and collaborate with Japan speaking stakeholders and clients.
