Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Analyst who turns data into clear insights and intuitive dashboards.

You will collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate questions into reports and visualisations that drive better decisions. The role focuses on building interactive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, performing detailed data analyses, and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• Preferably 3+ years in a Technical analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Business Analyst, or similar analytics role.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into effective data/BI/AI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in at least one BI tool with data modelling and dashboard optimization.
• Advanced SQL; experience querying large datasets from data warehouses/lakes; Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to support monitoring and decision-making.
• Perform detailed data analysis and deep dives to identify trends, anomalies and root causes.
• Translate business questions into analytical problems and define success metrics.
• Write efficient SQL to extract, transform, and aggregate data from data warehouses or data lakes.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with data engineering to improve pipelines and definitions.
• Present findings and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to standardized metrics, business definitions, and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and enhance analytical frameworks.
