Job summary

CityCab Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst who can turn data into clear insights and dashboards. You will collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate questions into reports and analyses that drive better decisions.

You will design and maintain dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Looker, perform deep data analyses, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires 1–3 years of experience and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in BI tools including data modelling, visual design, and dashboard performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience querying large datasets.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus.
• Good understanding of data modelling, joins, aggregations, and data quality.
• Experience with ad‑hoc analyses, hypothesis testing, and interpreting results.
• Effective communication to explain insights to non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI/Tableau/Looker to support monitoring and decision-making.
• Perform detailed data analysis, identify trends, anomalies, and root causes across key metrics.
• Translate business questions into analytical problems, define success metrics, and propose measurement approaches.
• Write SQL to extract, transform, and aggregate data from data warehouses or lakes for analysis.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with data engineering to improve pipelines and definitions.
• Present findings through clear visualizations and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to standardized metrics, definitions, and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve dashboards, automate reports, and enhance analytical frameworks.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.
