Adecco Portugal is partnering with a leading bank to recruit a Data Governance Specialist for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on transforming and operationalising data governance processes, combining governance, automation, AI agent development and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, automation or AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation and AI agent development.
• Experience with Power Platform and Copilot Studio is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Operationalise and expand data governance activities across CRs, CDEs and key processes.
• Manage data quality monitoring, issue management and reporting to committees.
• Drive periodic reviews of CRs, CDEs, ownership, rules and metadata.
• Identify and automate manual governance workflows for efficiency and scale.
• Design, build, deploy and manage AI agents to execute governance workflows with controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across all Bank functions to embed governance in BAU.
