Bank of Singapore Limited is seeking a seasoned Data Scientist for Data Governance to transform governance activities using automation and AI agents. You will build, deploy and manage agents that monitor governance workflows, oversee Critical Reports and CDEs, and partner with stakeholders to embed governance into BAU processes.

The role requires a strong foundation in data governance concepts, workflow automation, and experience in financial services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, process automation, AI solutions or related areas.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles: data quality, metadata management, data ownership, CDEs, data lineage, controls and issue management.
• Hands-on experience in workflow automation and AI/agent development.
• Familiarity with agentic AI, APIs, workflow orchestration and low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Knowledge of ontology, knowledge graphs, semantic modelling or metadata modelling.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Business, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology.

Aufgaben

• Operationalise and expand data governance activities across Critical Reports, CDEs and key business processes.
• Manage core governance activities including data quality monitoring, issue management and reporting to management committee members.
• Drive periodic reviews of Critical Reports, CDEs, business definitions and metadata.
• Identify and automate manual data management and governance workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Design, build, deploy and manage AI agents to execute and monitor governance workflows with controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across all functions to embed data governance into BAU processes.
• Pioneer and establish the enterprise ontology by defining business concepts and semantic standards.
• Leverage ontology, automation and agentic capabilities to strengthen data governance operating model and enable future AI use cases.
