Job summary

AIA Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to lead enterprise data governance initiatives, aligning with the Enterprise Data Roadmap. You will partner with data owners to implement governance frameworks and drive data quality improvements for trusted insights.

You will leverage Data360, SQL, Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI to deliver measurable business value while collaborating with cross-functional teams and steering governance discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, or related data management functions.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, data quality management, metadata management, data lineage, and enterprise data management principles.
• Hands-on experience with Data Governance platforms such as Data360 and proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable analytics and BI tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, manage, and derive insights from large datasets.
• Experience designing and delivering dashboards and reports for data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise data governance and data strategy initiatives aligned with the Enterprise Data Roadmap.
• Establish, implement, and promote data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead data quality assessment and improvement programs using governance tools like MDM and metadata management.
• Define and maintain enterprise data models and data warehouse structures for scalability and consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement of data quality with governance controls, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen data architecture and explore AI-driven solutions to enhance value.
• Coordinate governance discussions, working groups, and council meetings with reporting materials.
