Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking a Data Governance Officer to support MAS' enterprise data catalogue and governance initiatives. You will work with business, technology and policy stakeholders to improve data discoverability and promote responsible data use.

Responsibilities include developing and operationalising data governance processes, reviewing data-related risks, and creating guidance and training to strengthen awareness and compliance across MAS. This is a 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, or information governance.
• Familiarity with data ownership, stewardship, metadata management and data quality.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms or catalogues is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of MAS’ enterprise data catalogue and related data governance initiatives.
• Develop and operationalise data governance processes, standards and controls.
• Provide advisory on Whole-of-Government data governance requirements.
• Facilitate adoption of data governance practices including data ownership, stewardship, metadata management and access governance.
• Review data-related risks and governance submissions, and develop guidance materials and training.
