Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking an Associate in Advisory Technology Strategy to develop ETL strategies using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. You will craft data models, map analytics requirements, and lead ETL design discussions with client project teams, ensuring high-quality data pipelines and validations throughout UAT.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, Python/C#, and cloud experience, with opportunities for leadership as team needs grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of development experience on Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL and ability to write Stored Procedures, T-SQL from scratch.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, and PowerShell.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with strict timelines.
• Knowledge of testing concepts and Selenium is advantageous.
• Experience with cloud platforms and configuration.

• Responsible for testing and validating data from UAT
• Responsible to do fix on the ETL code and regression testing.

About The Role

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or foreign equivalent from a recognized university.
• Databricks
• At least 3 to 5 years of development experience on Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
• Must possess a strong command of SQL and be able to write Stored Procedures, SSIS, T-SQL from scratch
• Must have strong analytical skills and have strong attention to detail.
• Be able to work independently and ensure strict timelines are met without continuous technical supervision
• Knowledge of TDD and various concepts of testing and test automation tools e.g., Selenium is advantageous.
• Experience in using cloud platform and configuration
• Experience in programming with Python, C#, PowerShell
• Good to have experience in designing and building data visualization dashboards.
• Past consulting background and experience in working with business and technical stakeholders will be desirable
• Candidates with team management experience will be considered for Team Lead role
