Job summary

Apple Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and optimise data pipelines for the Apple Channel Sales team across ANZSA. You will ensure data is accessible, reliable and actionable to support sales decisions and AI-enabled insights.

In this role you will partner with global teams to implement scalable data architectures, data governance and secure data practices. You will deliver documentation, mappings and models to enable trusted analytics across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable data solutions for analytics.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/R).
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance and secure data practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design data integration, pipelines and ingestion processes for Apple data.
• Handle credentials, secrets and sensitive data securely across pipelines.
• Architect scalable and efficient data solutions using modern technologies.
• Establish and enforce robust governance of our data assets, driving data scale, quality and compliance.
• Implement data hygiene practices to ensure reliable insights.
• Develop data models and mapping rules to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Design and implement a semantic layer that integrates analytics data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams locally, regionally and globally.
• Develop and maintain user documentation, including data models and dictionaries.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy via validation and anomaly detection.
