Job summary

A*STAR Research is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Data Concierge for the TRUST Office in Singapore. You will partner with researchers to identify suitable datasets, navigate access requirements and translate research needs into well-scoped, analysis-ready data access, aligning data governance with research goals.

You will work closely with policy, governance and planning units to ensure data quality, compliance and efficient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Health Informatics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the R&D and/or Healthcare sector.
• Comfortable with working with large volume of data and some knowledge of data, coding languages (R, Python, SQL).
• Able to turn complex data and governance concepts into clear, succinct advice.
• Experience with Singapore’s health and biomedical research regulations (IRB and HBRA) will be considered favourably.

Responsibilities

• Partner researchers from first idea to approved access. Help them shape research questions into well-scoped, feasible data requests.
• Understand TRUST data, including sources, coding standards and nuances of clinical, research and administrative data.
• Support Data Access Committee to assess data requests and make recommendations balancing research value with governance needs.
• Review exports to ensure alignment with policies and data governance.
