Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or Engineering Science)
• 4–6+ years of hands-on lab experience in industrial / R&D environments
• Experience working with cooling systems and/or hardware systems for data centers
• Hands-on lab experience, including thermal/mechanical experimentation, data acquisition, and handling chemistry
• Experience designing and maintaining prototype test fixtures, jigs, and laboratory setups
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Work closely with researchers to advance new designs from concept to validated product
• Develop and execute lab tests, characterization plans, and validation procedures
• Assist with mechanical and thermal assembly and integration of prototype systems
• Assemble and troubleshoot cooling systems for data centers, including CDUs, pumps, sensors, and other electromechanical hardware systems
• Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and maintenance tasks
• Coordinate a varied workload, manage shifting priorities, and complete tasks within required timelines
• Follow established safety procedures and provide guidance to the engineering team on proper practices

This role will work closely with internal teams to build, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and maintain prototype systems and laboratory setups used for product development and performance evaluation.

The ideal candidate brings strong practical lab experience, confidence working with electromechanical hardware and/or wet chemistry equipment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced development setting.
