Job summary

NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Data Centre Design & Infrastructure Strategy Engineer to lead the design, expansion, and modernization of data centre facilities across regional sites.

You will define standards for power, cooling, cabling, and rack infrastructure while evaluating capacity and growth needs. The role involves building business cases for investments, coordinating with vendors and partners, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data centre design, engineering, or infrastructure strategy.
• Solid understanding of UPS, PDU, cooling systems, containment, and power distribution.
• Knowledge of data centre network architectures (spine-leaf, pod-based designs).
• Experience building business cases, budget planning, and vendor negotiations.
• Exposure to enterprise or financial services environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data centre design standards: power, cooling, rack, and cabling requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization reviews.
• Develop costed expansion options and business cases for growth and modernization.
• Review and challenge existing infrastructure and network architecture designs.
• Manage and coordinate with colocation providers, engineering consultants, and vendors.
• Present recommendations and investment proposals to senior stakeholders.
