Job summary

K2 Strategic is seeking a Head of Design to lead the engineering design function for data centre developments in Singapore. You will oversee MEP and CSA infrastructure across new-build, retrofit, and expansion projects, guiding a team of design engineers and collaborating with project delivery teams to deliver reliable, scalable facilities.

You will drive design standards, lead design reviews, and optimize energy efficiency while balancing cost and build speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• PE license or chartered engineer status preferred.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience; data centres or mission-critical facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for data centre projects from concept to handover.
• Own and improve design standards and basis-of-design documents.
• Review designs and calculations by internal teams or external consultants.
