Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Shift Technician to maintain critical building systems within a data centre environment in Singapore. You will perform preventative maintenance, monitor systems, respond to alarms, and support repairs, reporting to the Shift Lead.

The role requires experience with building services, safety procedures, and CMMS/BMS platforms, with a strong focus on accuracy and client service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services within data center or critical facilities.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS platforms used in data centers.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and building systems in a data center.
• Monitor and respond to BMS alarms; carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Document activities and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Report issues and contribute to improving reliability and service delivery.
