Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Center Site Lead to drive excellence in maintenance programs and manage multi-skilled Engineering Operations teams at the Singapore facility. The role involves leading technicians and vendors, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, and coordinating with the Data Centre Operations Manager.

You will monitor uptime, drive continuous improvement, and ensure excellent asset management and incident response.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or operational engineering.
• At least 3 years' experience operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III data centers.
• Relevant data center certifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage site operations, including hiring, motivation, development, training, and discipline of site operation technicians and maintenance teams.
• Monitor KPI and uptime requirements.
• Support site reviews covering maintenance standards, equipment replacement, security, change control, single points of failure, Tier adherence, and operational risk.
• Ensure delivery of planned and reactive activities using the CMMS platform within financial operating targets.
• Provide advice and consultation on facilities engineering matters to support client facility operations.
• Oversee site repair and maintenance performed by subcontractors, ensuring work completion, quality, and methods comply with specifications and ordinance requirements.
• Monitor, measure, and report on performance of all specialist contractors, assessing their ability to carry out work against the agreed contractual budget.
• Lead and support regular meetings with contractors, specialist vendors, and suppliers to establish and maintain required standards, and develop corrective action plans when performance falls below expectations.
• Support daily cadence meetings, monthly operation meetings, and quarterly business reviews with the client.
• Ensure maintenance documentation meets required standards and provides sufficient information to operate an effective asset management regimen.
