Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based technology consultancy, seeks a 24 months fixed term contract professional to manage infrastructure, security, and IT operations across its facilities and data centres. The role involves monitoring power, cooling, fire suppression, access control, CCTV, system health, backups, and incident management.

You will coordinate with vendors, support change and maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with security policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Facilities Management, or related field. Experience in IT operations or data centre operations.
• Understanding of infrastructure systems and IT operations.
• Knowledge of security principles and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in shifts or respond to emergencies when required.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure including power systems (UPS, PDUs), cooling systems, and fire suppression systems.
• Infrastructure: Conduct regular environmental monitoring checks (temperature, humidity, water leakage).
• Infrastructure: Coordinate with vendors and teams for infrastructure issue resolution.
• Infrastructure: Support facility maintenance activities and equipment installations.
• Infrastructure: Maintain cable management and facility organization.
• Infrastructure: Ensure facility cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Physical Security: Monitor and manage access control systems and CCTV operations.
• Physical Security: Handle visitor management and escort duties.
• Physical Security: Maintain security logs and access records.
• Physical Security: Ensure compliance with physical security policies.
• Physical Security: Report security incidents and anomalies.
• IT Operations: Monitor IT systems health and performance.
• IT Operations: Perform basic troubleshooting and system administration tasks.
• IT Operations: Support backup operations and disaster recovery procedures.
• IT Operations: Process service requests and support incident management.
• IT Operations: Assist with change management activities.
