Job summary

Optimum Solutions (Singapore) Pte Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Operations Support professional to assist day‑to‑day operations, maintenance and security of data centre facilities and IT infrastructure in Singapore.

You will monitor critical infrastructure such as UPS, PDUs, cooling, fire suppression, and environmental systems. The role requires 4+ years in IT operations or data centre support, a solid grasp of data centre infrastructure and security principles, and willingness to work shift

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support or data centre operations.
• Good understanding of data centre infrastructure, IT operations and security principles.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or GCIH will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure (UPS, PDUs, cooling, fire suppression, environmental monitoring).
• Track environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, water leakage) to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Support facility maintenance, equipment installations, cable management and housekeeping.
• Monitor and manage security systems (access control, CCTV) and visitor management.
• Maintain security logs, access records and report incidents.
• Monitor IT systems, perform basic troubleshooting and system administration.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, incident management, service requests and change management.
• Perform basic security checks and user access management.
• Maintain data centre documentation, asset registers and maintenance records.
• Liaise with external partners and suppliers on operational and security matters.
