Job summary

Amazon (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operation Engineer in Singapore for a 12-month contract with a potential path to permanent full-time employment.

You will join a world-class team responsible for the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art critical infrastructure facilities, collaborating with engineers, security, and operations staff while ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center operates within contract parameters.
• Manage risk, implement corrective and preventive maintenance, and oversee vendor activities.
• Prepare reports on data center infra operations and maintenance.
• Generate change management requests and incident tickets for DCEO activities.
• Coordinate with IT, Networking, Logistics, Safety, Security and other leaders to execute projects and optimize plant performance.
• Review documentation for technical support of business and facility operations.
• Lead projects to increase facility capacity, efficiency, and reliability.
• Support operating partners in resolving infrastructure engineering issues.
