Job summary

Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer to lead engineering operations for AWS data center facilities. The role focuses on risk management, maintenance planning, and vendor management within AWS Data Center environments.

The position requires 4+ years in a data center or critical environment and a min. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a data center or critical environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including night shifts and weekends.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as site primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.
• Meet daily hours of operations; on-call requirements and rotations.
• Manage planned and unplanned site works for critical infrastructure with risk mitigation and approvals.
• Oversee on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with practices and local laws.
• Establish performance benchmarks, prepare reports on data center facility operations and maintenance.
• Generate change management and incident tickets for DCEO activities.
• Coordinate with IT, Networking, Logistics, Safety, Security to optimize capacity and safety.
