Job summary

HCL TechBee is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a large-scale Data Center Migration and Co-location Management initiative in Singapore. You will strategize, plan, and execute end-to-end migration projects, including RFI/RFP processes, contract reviews, and vendor negotiations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data center migrations, strong risk management, and the ability to coordinate across infrastructure, applications, and operations teams while minimizing business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience in data center migration, infrastructure transformation, or colocation management.
• Proven experience managing RFI/RFP processes, lease contracts, and vendor negotiations for data center facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive data center migration strategies, ensuring alignment with timelines and risk tolerance.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of migration activities including asset relocation and network cutovers.
• Conduct assessments of current data center environments and target state requirements.
• Perform detailed work breakdowns and resource allocation for smooth execution.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery with cross-functional teams across infra, apps, and operations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize downtime.
• Manage migration waves and ensure completion against entry/exit criteria.
• Coordinate governance approvals, risk assessments, and rollback strategies.
• Establish dashboards and KPIs to track migration progress, vendor performance, and contractual compliance.
