Job summary

Sea is seeking a Data Center Facility Specialist to monitor and maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems across assigned sites. You will partner with Data Center Operations, third-party providers, and vendors to ensure facility health, incident response, and preventive maintenance with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will review power and cooling capacities, support fault investigations, perform risk assessments, and help drive standardization of SOPs and maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, building services, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Data Center facilities or related environment.
• Hands-on exposure to UPS, generators, switchgear, PDU, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, or BMS/DCIM.
• Experience with facility maintenance, incident management, RCA, or risk management.
• Ability to work with third-party providers and contractors to review maintenance and service reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Center Operations and vendors to monitor facility health and meet operational requirements.
• Monitor power availability, UPS/PDU performance, generators, electrical distribution, cooling, HVAC, and BMS/DCIM data.
• Serve as L2 escalation point for facility incidents; assist with investigations, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Review preventive maintenance schedules and service reports, identifying gaps for follow-up.
• Assess facility risks related to power, cooling, and capacity; track mitigation actions to closure.
• Review capacity against IT load and impact of planned changes.
• Develop and maintain facility standards, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and health reports.
• Conduct periodic health reviews and identify abnormal conditions and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with providers to improve reliability, maintenance quality, and safety compliance.
