Job summary

AECOM seeks an Electrical Engineer to support electrical design delivery for data centre projects in APAC, acting as a technical expert and ensuring outputs meet client needs. You will define objectives, organize schedules, apply engineering judgement and ensure high-quality standards across Data Centre Electrical sector.

The role requires a minimum degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive design experience in data centres and mission critical environments; knowledge of power distribution,

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized institutions.
• Extensive design experience delivering electrical projects within Data Centres and Mission Critical environments.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical design for Data Centres: power distribution, resilience, redundancy.
• Preferably with ATD certification and professional registration (e.g., CPEng/NER), ideally CEng with CIBSE.

Responsibilities

• Supports the electrical design delivery for data centre projects, acting as a recognized technical expert and ensuring all outputs meet client needs.
• Drive project excellence by defining objectives, organising schedules and resources, applying engineering judgement.
• Supports the data center team in providing strategic oversight for APAC technical delivery, including benchmarking and risk management.
• Strengthen client partnerships by understanding their business and proactively responding to requirements and market changes.
• Participates in bid and proposal development and ensures seamless Electrical services delivery across the region.
