Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Mechanical (Data Centers) to lead mechanical design delivery for data center projects in Singapore, working within the Data Centres Market Sector. You will act as a technical expert, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and drive sector growth through bids, thought leadership, and strong client partnerships.

You bring extensive data centre electrical engineering experience, strong commercial acumen, and eligibility for AGSVA-baseline clearance to

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Uptime Institute ATD certification.
Registration or eligibility for registration (e.g., CPEng, NER).
AGSVA or equivalent clearance eligibility is desirable if applicable.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design delivery for data center projects with technical excellence.
Define objectives, schedules, resources; ensure high-quality outputs across mechanical systems.
Strengthen client partnerships by understanding business needs and market changes.
Lead data centre sector growth activities, including bid/proposal development and thought leadership.
Demonstrate extensive experience in electrical engineering for data centres and mission critical environments.
