Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Center Cabling Engineer to lead cabling design for existing and new data centers.

You will collaborate with global EDC Infrastructure Cabling Engineering teams to ensure global consistency and drive tender processes with procurement. The role involves coordinating with Telco Networking, Server, and Security teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring proper documentation and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data center cabling layouts.
• Familiarity with ISO/TIA testing standards.
• Experience with tender documentation and vendor selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead cabling design across data center projects.
• Prepare tender documents and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather cabling requirements.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and installation schedules.
• Close out cabling O&M manuals and as-built drawings.
• Oversee vendor installations and witness testing and handover.
