Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Singapore seeks a Technical Projects Director – Architectural Technical Lead to provide senior technical direction on architectural design and project delivery. You will lead design reviews, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.

Ideal candidates have extensive architectural design experience, professional registration, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders across the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture/architectural engineering or related field.
• Registered architect or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Extensive experience in architectural design, design management and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical advice on architectural designs, drawings, specifications and development plans to meet project requirements and standards.
• Serve as Client Representative for architectural engineering matters, coordinating with internal teams, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Monitor design and construction progress, ensuring compliance with approved designs, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Identify design and construction issues early and propose practical mitigation to minimize risk and schedule impact.
• Oversee compliance with local building regulations and project-specific design criteria.
• Review and approve architectural documentation including drawings, reports, and design packages.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering recommendations for project decisions and complex design challenges.
• Facilitate coordination among multidisciplinary teams (CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, EHS, Security) and external stakeholders.
• Support design reviews and optimize solutions for constructability and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and vendors to align with objectives and quality standards.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and project records management.
• Escalate critical issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant parties.
• Support opportunities for design optimization and value engineering.
